About Our Company
Twenty-two years ago, I walked into this industry because I wanted to build things right. Not fast, not cheap—right. Over two decades, I watched what happens when contractors cut corners on patios, when decks aren't built to last, when someone's outdoor space becomes a liability instead of a sanctuary.
When I took over this company a year ago, I didn't come in to transform everything. I came in to protect what was already working and double down on what matters. Twenty-two years teaches you what clients actually need versus what they think they need. It teaches you that the difference between a patio that holds up and one that crumbles is never visible until it's too late.
We've designed and restored and built decks, patios, bar additions, retaining walls, and complete hardscape projects across Middle Tennessee. We've learned the state codes, the county requirements, the local approval procedures—not because we had to, but because doing it wrong affects someone's home. We've handled everything from intricate Dreis step stone pathways to fire pits to ground-up construction projects that required structural design and engineering knowledge.
'The difference between a structure that lasts and one that fails lives in the details nobody sees.'
— Owner, 22 Years in Construction
Permits and codes aren't obstacles—they're proof you're doing something that matters. We've navigated state, county, and local requirements across Middle Tennessee because proper approval upfront prevents expensive rework later. When a client sees us submitting plans for design approval instead of just swinging a hammer, they realize we're protecting their investment, not rushing to the next job.
Hardscape and general construction live in different worlds until you understand they're actually one. A retaining wall that looks beautiful but doesn't handle water pressure will fail. A fire pit that catches the light perfectly but doesn't account for wind and smoke will sit unused. We design structural integrity into aesthetics because we've seen too many projects where one compromised the other.
Twenty years teaches you that the client's vision matters more than proving you're the expert. We listen first, design second, build third. Because a patio that solves the wrong problem isn't elegant—it's expensive regret.
Working with us means your project isn't a line item—it's built by someone who's spent over two decades learning why details matter. We handle design, permitting, structural engineering, and construction. We know the approval procedures. We understand what happens when contractors try to save money on soil prep or post installation, and we don't do that.
If you've got a vision for your outdoor space or you need structural work done right, reach out. We'll talk about what you actually need, what codes apply, and how to build it so it lasts.
