Epoch Construction built a 2nd story deck with exposed beam cover/roof for us. We had a general idea of what we wanted but the owner really helped dial it in for us and knew all the codes for our location off the top of his head. The actual construction process was a completely stress-free experience for us. We gave them the back side of the house and stayed out of their way so they could go to town on it. And they definitely did, even on mornings that were well below freezing. They are indeed experts with tying into our existing home framing and roof. That was our main concern from the beginning and didn't want to turn over every rock looking for the cheapest. We wanted experts at a fair price and that's what we got. Overall project was on budget and schedule with zero surprises or issues along the way. The final product was far better than we ever envisioned. Beth, a co-founder of the company, has an extensive background in project/event management, from movies to concerts. Currently she serves as the CFO for Epoch Construction and is expanding her knowledge of the industry as a whole.
